Unique strategies and structured activities that help each child grow and enjoy a brighter future
Here at M.B.F we offer a variety of activities and behavioural management strategies to help young people who are at risk of losing their places at home or at school. We provide incentives and support to help them grow and go on to reach their full potential. Our work is primarily with SEMH, (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), young people. We work with vulnerable young people who:
We can work wherever we are needed. That could be at a school or at the home in which the child is living. We can also work out in public places as we provide activities and opportunities for the young person to help them build and control their life in a more positive and productive way.
We work with a large number of qualified and experienced activity providers, as well as fully qualified tutors and professionals. This means we are able to offer a wide variety of different provisions depending on the needs and requirements of the child.

These can be on a school site or out in public. We choose activities that are designed to interest the young person and help them to push themselves to improve at them using qualified and experienced activity leaders. These are a really productive use of respite time that is so often desperately needed by families, schools and carers.

We are able to offer respite for foster care families, children's homes or families where there is a real threat of a breakdown in relationships between the family and the young person. We are able to offer in home respite or take the young person out and utilise relationship building and structured activities to allow the relationship to heal.

This involves us working with schools or children's homes to offer support before relationships break down. Behavioural management strategies can be created as well as activity planning and creation. The aim is to reverse destructive behaviours before it is too late.

We are able to work with families, including foster care placements and care homes, where relationships are breaking down. Through structured activity provision, mentoring and strong boundary setting, with both the young person and family, we can help to ease tensions before they end up going too far.

This involves us building relationships with young people struggling to manage at school, or at home. We help them to find strategies to handle how they feel without the need to resort to their destructive behaviours which can cause issues. Building bonds based on trust and provision of action plans dedicated solely to their own progression and development allow us to help guide these young people onto a more prosperous and less antagonistic path.
