My Bright Future offers experienced workers to provide structured support and respite for Foster families looking to re charge. Whatever the situation we can help strategise, prepare useful and structured support time and help to make the placement work well for both the child and the family fostering them.
We look to plan structured activities that are focused on what the child enjoys as well as what will challenge them and help to grow as individuals as well as help resolve issues they may be having in the Foster placement.
We can work in blocks of 3 hours or whole days in terms of time....with activities ranging from educational and structured activities like sports or a musical discipline, to days out at the seaside or museums. Check out our activity services here
Whether it be solutions for behavioural issues or help in planning or creating suitable activities for the children in care, we work with the parents and social services to devise suitable plans of action to help keep the relationships growing and flowing between foster carer and the child being cared for.
We are able to organise or support family time requirements in liaison with social workers and the Foster family. These can be in contact centres, private establishments we organise or out in the public.
We can take over from the foster carer(s) and look after the child, (children) in the house allowing them freedom to do what they need to, safe in the knowledge the children are being looked after by experienced care staff who are able to handle whatever might be asked of them from the children while they are out . Activities can be planned and undertaken as well as any school work or musical instrument practice. We will line up a full, pre agreed itinerary prior to any scheduled sitting.
